The third information meeting of Port of HaminaKotka Ltd in 2025 was held on October 16, in the Merituuli office centre in Mussalo. As usual, participants had the opportunity to attend either remotely via Teams or on-site.
At the beginning of the event, Sales Manager Antti Lallukka gave a brief overview of the current traffic situation at the port and presented the results of the latest customer satisfaction survey.
Technical Director Esa Paronen then discussed this year’s investments, winter maintenance, and lighting. He also reminded participants about environmental matters, such as keeping the areas clean - especially to ensure the proper functioning of stormwater systems - and following agreed working practices to minimize noise disturbances.
Traffic Director Timo Rosendahl encouraged participants to report any safety-related observations in the port area or its surroundings without hesitation. He also gave a brief update on the current status of the Security Clearance Act and reminded everyone about safe movement within the port area, particularly during dark hours.
