Rail

The rail network within the Port of HaminaKotka encompasses approx. 80 kilometres. Hundreds of rail waggon loads arrive at and depart from the port every day. Thanks to rail tracks, which lead directly into terminals and warehouses, the waggons can be loaded and unloaded fluently.

Finland, Russia and the CIS countries have an identical track gauge, which is why rail transport to and from the Port of HaminaKotka takes place without transloading all the way to the Chinese border.
