02.06.2023

The luxury cruise ship Silver Wind owned by Royal Caribbean and operated by Silversea Cruises is making her first visit to the eastern part of the Finnish Gulf on Saturday the 3rd of June. The vessel has approximately 200 guests onboard together with the same amount of crew members. This in 1995 built still timelessly elegant and luxuriously relaxed cruise ship has gone through major refurbishments and serves cruise guests unforgettable experiences cruising from polar regions and Nordic rough archipelago to golden sands of the Caribbean.

The cruise guests will spend their day on the Ulko-Tammio island, which is one of the most easterly islands in the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park and is known for its natural beauty and an interesting military history.

The cruise guests will enjoy a guided nature tour together with lunch and coffee in the nature operated by the tour operator: - I am happy to have the possibility of bringing this important customer to the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park. The unpopulated Ulko-Tammio island is an excellent attraction where the guests can experience the luxury of pure nature at its best. The collaboration with Port of HaminaKotka has worked seamlessly, and at the same time I would like to thank the local suppliers producing the necessary services to make this happen, says Virve Kataja, Director of Sales and Operations Next Travel Finland Ltd.

Silver Wind visits the Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park two times this coming summer. The first call at Ulko-Tammio is scheduled for June 3rd and the other one of June 5th. In between the dates, the ship will have a turnaround in Helsinki Ulko-Tammio being the first stop of the cruise that ends in Reykjavik, Iceland.
