Recommended route for heavy goods transport to Mussalo

Port of HaminaKotka Ltd recommends that heavy goods transport arriving at and leaving Mussalo
use primarily Hyväntuulentie road and avoid using Mussalontie road.

The Mussalontie road route passes through residential areas, and there are several schools,
day care centres and pedestrian and bicycle ways along it.
The goal is to improve the safety of these by directing traffic to Hyväntuulentie road.
