Marjukka Kettunen has been appointed Quality and Environment Manager at Port of HaminaKotka Ltd as of 1 February 2026. Kettunen holds a BBA degree and has worked for Port of HaminaKotka Ltd for many years.
As Quality and Environment Manager, Kettunen will be responsible for coordinating and developing the port company’s quality and environmental matters, as well as building processes related to sustainability. In her role, she will report to Traffic Director Timo Rosendahl.
Kettunen says she is looking forward to her new responsibilities:
“During my time with the port authority, I have had the opportunity to be involved in many areas, which has given me a solid understanding of the company’s operations and its diverse stakeholders and their requirements. I consider customer orientation and continuous development particularly important. I am also close to completing my MBA degree, and the topic of my thesis can easily be found in my new field of work.”
In her free time, she enjoys activities such as horseback riding and singing. She has a broad interest in culture and sports.
“Sometimes it feels like the world is full of wonderful things, but time and energy set their limits”, Kettunen says.
