The Port of HaminaKotka is involved in a project that seeks new business opportunities and efficiency to the port. This takes place by utilising digital tools and open information.

The truck weighbridge of Port of HaminaKotka Ltd at Mussalo will be out of use due to change of the PC hardware of the weighbridge terminal on 4 December 2017. The weighbridge will be out of use between 9.00 am and 16.00 pm.

Eija Rossi, new Commercial Director of Port of HaminaKotka Ltd, started in her new position at the beginning of December 2017. Eija Rossi (46) moved to the new position from the globally-operating German logistics company DHL.

Ilmari Elo, B.Sc. (Econ.), the former Port Director of Kotka, died at his home in Loviisa on Finnish Independence Day 6 December 2017 at the age of 85 years.

The DigiPort project that examines the digitalisation of seaports will arrange a seminar and workshop on digitalisation and open data at office centre Merituuli of the Port of HaminaKotka (Merituulentie 424, Kotka) on Tuesday 13 March 2018 from 8.30 to 14.00.

The Port of HaminaKotka with its partners will be represented in logistics exhibitions in Moscow and Bremen in the spring of 2018.
